Very informative book about TEFL certificates indeed! It is a very interesting idea to teach English abroad. To do that, you greatly improve your chances by having a TEFL certificate. Author kicks off the book with listing pros and cons and what the certificate is. It paints a really good picture for us, readers. Then I learned the costs of the certificates and different means of obtaining it. Not only that, the author also lists different countries, in which you can apply yourself. Salaries were included as well.The author closes the book with some useful tips regarding teaching abroad. Overall, I could safely say that if anyone wants to become a teacher abroad, this book is a good start!

The information is too basic and could be found within a few google searches. Unfortunately I know about 80% of the book before I got it
Pretty basic information, nothing I already knew but a pleasant read. One line I found particularly amusing "facing challenging new activities... by trying new food, by cleaning your own apartment..." (3). Haha. I think if you are a high school student who is interested in pursuing TEFL as a career choice this book is great, but if you have any experience at all you can find more rewarding information online.
It would have been better as a pdf phamplet online. It was very short & gave a nice general overview of what to expect & how to prepare to be a TEFL teacher. I don't kbow if $7 was a fair price for info you can find online in a blog. It is good info, but it would have been better with an additional 20 pages covering the basics of a lesson plan & so forth.
It's an excellent book for anyone interested in ESL or TESOL, I definitely recommend it!
